Tom graduated from Bethel University in 1996 where he played football and was involved with youth outreach programs in college. He also received valuable education and experience in the Marine Corps Reserves with MP company out of Fort Snelling from 1993-1999.
During college, he began his career in the banking industry. After three years of successful management and investment experience, he decided to redirect his efforts to deepening client relationships and providing wealth management strategies for individuals, families and small business owners at RBC Wealth Management from June 2000 - April 2023. Tom has served his industry and community in many ways. He has been on the boards of the Skyway YMCA, MISF (now Minndependant) and Beyond Our Door Global, was on multiple corporate committees, fundraising committees. His passion has always been Children’s and Youth ministries where he has served in various capacities for over 25 years.

Tom lives in Andover, Minnesota, with his wife, Lisa and their four children, Devin, Jessa, Avery, and Casey. He enjoys being active with his family and together they enjoy boating, water and snow skiing, traveling, playing sports and serving together. Tom loves being a husband, father and friend and deeply values relationships.
